Phil Rosati Purchases TAG Group

The Team Athletic Goods buying group has been sold to Philip Rosati, who will now serve as the Chief Executive Officer.

The acquisition of TAG does not include TAG Team Uniforms. TAG will, however, continue to conduct business with TTU as it has in the past to help serve our dealer network.

In a statement from the group, the TAG Board of Directors says it "is confident that Philip will take TAG to the next level, building on the solid foundation achieved by Anthony Rosati, Ron Kruse and Trevor Swangard. Philip has vast experience in the sporting goods industry. We feel confident that Philip brings the appropriate skill set to lead TAG forward towards greater growth and profitability for our dealers."

For the past 30 plus years, Rosati has been involved in all aspects of operating and subsequent ownership of Lansing Sport Shop in Lansing, IL.

“I am looking forward to leading this great group of dealers," says Rosati. "I am also eager for the opportunity to work with all vendors in the sporting goods industry in a way that will benefit of our dealers.”
