Rock Creek Sold To Visant

Visant Corporation has acquired Rock Creek Athletics, a manufacturer and distributor of wool letter jackets with operations in Grinnell, IA. Rock Creek’s primary business and production operations will remain in Grinnell and the company will continue to market and sell products through its existing independent sales channel. The Rock Creek management team will remain in place, ensuring continuity in the manufacturing, marketing and sales efforts of the company.

The acquisition was accomplished through a stock purchase and Rock Creek becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Visant Corporation. This transaction is complementary to Visant’s Neff Motivation subsidiary and the recent brand expansion of its dealer division.
